![]() Directed by Stephen Chiodo Here we have a normal looking movie to start out with. The town's people are enjoying dinner at a local fast food diner titled Big Top Burger while in another scene, young adults are totally enveloped in their intimate moods at the famous make out point. The wackiness doesn't start until the two main lovers, Debbie and Mike (Suzanne Snyder and Grant Cramer), see a falling star in the night sky while they were spending time at the make out point, and decided to go chase after it. Not only did Debbie and Mike see it, but so did an old man and his dog Pooh. Thanks to the old man and his trusty dog being curious as well, this is where we discover that the flash was no falling star but something like a circus tent that landed, and is run by very odd looking Killer Klowns. Come a bit later on, Mike and Debbie also find out what is going on after making the mistake of going to the landing site and entering the tent. These Klowns have laser guns that spin you into a fatal cotton candy cocoon! After the couple discovered their secret, the Klowns are now after them. This leaves the lovers with no other choice than to go seek help from a cop who is a friend (and ex boyfriend of Debbie's), and 2 goofy and horny brothers that run an ice cream truck. ![]() The basis of this plot is that these alien Klowns landed for the sole purpose of harvesting human beings to serve as a tasty treat. There are many instances of Klowns just destroying things and making their killings about town. There is one scene that struck an uncomfortable vibe of pedophilia as a bigger Klown preys upon a little girl and another infamous and might I say, very clever scene, that involved a Klown who tricked a group of the town's people to their death through shadow puppets. This movie proves itself worthy of what you would expect from the title alone and throws a few surprises along the way. Who could resist killer popcorn and a huge ass Klown named Klownzilla? RATING: 4 eye screams out of 4. I have loved this movie since the first time I saw it. <-- |
